IPS2 Technical and Logistics Centre

The IPS2 is composed of two buildings of 9800 m2 spread over 3 levels. This property complex, built in 1994 with the help of the Essonne County Council, is part of the university campus of Paris Sud and is number 630 on the university map. A building is dedicated to teaching, it is composed exclusively of a classroom and practical work, but also of an amphitheatre that can accommodate 200 people. This "teaching" part is under ERP status with the resulting security standards. The other building, which is larger in size and dedicated to research, consists of laboratories, special scientific facilities, offices and various common research support services. This research section is subject to the Labour Code and therefore meets the appropriate mandatory controls. Building 630 belongs to the university and must collaborate with the 2 major departments of UPSUD, the first being the department of the UFR sciences and the second the campus department.
