The IPS2 transcriptOmic Platform:  Design upstream to analyse downstream

POPS has held the IBiSA label since 2008 and the "Collective Scientific Infrastructure" label from INRAE's National Commission for Collective Tools since 2021, after having been a "National Strategic Platform" since 2008. It has also been ISO9001-certified since 2012, and is a member of the France Génomique national infrastructure.

Since 2008, POPS has been committed to implementing a quality management system that meets the requirements of the international ISO9001 standard, which has resulted in ISO 9001 certification since 2012, with a transition to the 2015 version of the standard in 2017, followed by renewal of certification in 2021 and 2024.

The scope of certification applies to our platform's 3 major areas of activity: integrated custom services, development and training & scientific animation.

The involvement of all members of POPS in this approach reflects our desire to fulfill the expectations of our collaborators and to continuously improve our activities. These commitments are formalized in our quality policy, an extract of which is given below:

"Since its creation in 2003, the transcriptome analysis platform has aimed to best meet the expectations of its collaborators through the implementation of robust and efficient technological, bioinformatics and statistical tools. Constant improvement of the quality and relevance of our tools enables us to offer high value-added solutions.
Our ISO 9001 certification, obtained and maintained since 2012, marks our determination to offer a commitment to quality to our employees. The quality management system applies to all activities of the transcriptome platform.
The Quality policy, challenges and objectives are reviewed annually and communicated to all platform members via meetings or any other available media.
As part of our ISO 9001-compliant quality approach, and in compliance with applicable requirements, we are committed to encouraging, guiding and supporting platform members in the continuous improvement and efficiency of our quality management system, and hence our organization.
We are convinced that our quality approach is of mutual benefit to our platform and our employees.
We are therefore committed to strongly supporting it in order to perpetuate our certification."
