Graham Noctor appointed at the IUF
Graham Noctor, professor at the Paris-Sud University and leader of the CCARS group at IPS2, has been appointed as senior member of the “Institut Universitaire de France” (IUF) for a five year period.
This promotion, which comes with a discharge in teaching, a bonus and an endowment for research honors the quality of his work throughout his career. It also highlights the current topic addressed by the CCARS team which revolves around antioxidant pathways, redox signaling, and acclimatory mechanisms in plants in the context of global warming and increased environmental CO2.
