the startup Neoplants joins the IPS2
Neoplants uses the latest synthetic biology tools to develop plants that can eliminate air pollutants.
on average we spend 90% of our time indoors, where the air is 2 to 5 times more polluted than outdoors. Air purifiers are proven to be inefficient against the most harmful indoor air pollutants and unfortunately existing houseplants have no impact on them either in real life conditions. Founded by Patrick Torbey (ENS, PhD Genome Editing) and Lionel Mora (Ex Google), Neoplants is tackling this issue as its very first step. They have now joined the IPS2 and its scientific community.
