The objective of this internship is to allow you to acquire the theoretical and practical bases of analytical techniques in metabolomics: HPLC, GC/MS, LC-MS, NMR.
Trainees will be able to follow the analysis of a series of biological samples from A to Z. They will have the possibility to bring one of their own samples (plant, animal, bacteria, cell culture...)
for a test analysis for educational purposes.
This training concerns researchers and students in biology or biochemistry. It requires a BAC+ 5 in biology or chemistry.
The number of participants is limited to 8.
The program runs over 4 days from Tuesday 08/10/2019 to Friday 11/10/2019
- Initiation to metabolomics
- Determination of metabolites in HPLC and LC/MS
- Metabolic profiling by GC/MS
- Initialization to metabolomics by NMR
- Statistical analysis and data integration, contributions from metabolomics
- Contribution of Fluxomics
The speakers are:
- Françoise Gilard (CNRS engineer),
- Florence Guérard (University of Paris-Sud engineer),
- Caroline Mauve (CNRS engineer),
- Bertrand Gakière (Senior Lecturer)
